TV Studio Curriculum
The local news team covers our hero as he intervenes during a bullying incident. In "The Super Jimmy Show" participants interview witnesses and investigate the causes of bullying; exploring various strategies and solutions for conflict resolution.
The skit is a shorter version of the two-act play and requires only 4 actors. This option is perfect for smaller classes or for occasions when time is limited.
Four separate lessons cover reading, vocabulary, writing, speaking, social studies, science and math. National Standards include NSS-G.K-12.1 The World in Spatial Terms and NL-ENG.K-12.8 Developing Research Skills.
Includes all you need to direct a play: Background Information, Director/Educator Preparation, Casting Notes, Selecting Performers, Working with Your Set, Program Suggestions, Integrating Curriculum, and Fun Facts.
